These kits provide protection against light oil, dust, and water.

The boot kit consists of a flexible vinyl or silicone right angle boot and an attaching plastic bushing. It effectively shields the wire terminals from spray water, oil mist, and dust.

Please note that the boot kit is not watertight, nor intended for waterproofing.

Due to the close fit of the bushing, the boot kit achieves a protection rating of IP51. It is designed to be used on the stationary end of the Mercotac connector. The small tip of the vinyl boot can be trimmed to accommodate different wire sizes
